Tammie Tubbs is truly an overcomer and an inspiration to many. She is the mother of Trinity and the late Terrance and Tyler Tubbs. Tammie serves as an ordained minister under the leadership of Supt. Joseph Hawkins of Peter’s Rock Temple Church of God in Christ. An Innovative Television Host, Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Published Author and Certified Teacher, Tammie is empowering lives around the world through her dynamic personality. She serves as the executive producer and host of her own television show, “The Tammie Tubbs Show,” which airs on CTN (Christian Television Network affiliate WEPH TV 49), On Pointe Network, Roku ,Amazon Fire stick, Pam Chatmon Network and Apple TV.
In 2015, Tammie was awarded the Mississippi State University President Commission “Community Woman of the Year” Award. In 2016, she received the Northeast Mississippi Girls Scouts Heart of the South “Woman of Distinction” Award. In 2018, she was nominated for the GCGMA Best Television Personality Award and was recently named one of the Most Influential Afro-Americans in the State of Mississippi. Recently, she was awarded the title of Outstanding New Teacher for the Starkville Oktibbeha School District. In addition, Tammie was instrumental in launching the first Parent Cafe Model in the state of Mississippi through Starkville Oktibbeha School District serving as the first Program Manager for Families Strengthening Families. Because of Tammie’s groundwork, Mississippi became the 13th state in the nation to use Parent Cafe Model to assist families with developing and improving parental skills to live a healthy lifestyle.
